Dr. DeWitt specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders as well as psychotherapy. She earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident during her final year of training.

 

Dr. DeWitt has previously worked as an Attending Physician and faculty member at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center. In addition to her psychotherapy training during residency, Dr. DeWitt completed a two year program in psychodynamic psychotherapy at The Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and maintains memberships with the American Psychiatric Association and The Connecticut Psychiatric Society.
